RETAIL SHOPS

If being "hands on" with the animals is just a little too much for you but you still want to help, then how about a volunteer post in one of our shops.

Currently we have a shop in Ventnor High Street and also a brand new shop in Lower St. James Street in Newport, both of which need reliable volunteers.

You can help in several ways:

Collection Drivers:- current clean driving licence please! and your role will be to collect goods from across the Island, donated to us by generous members of the public for sale in our shops.

Stock Sorters:- Anyone can get stuck into this job, so if you fancy sorting through the stock in a nice warm environment, and helping to price it up before putting the items out on the shelves, then this is the job for you.

If you have a particular interest in books or furniture then maybe you could put that knowledge to good use by helping in these sections.

Shop Floor:- An aptitude for mental arithmetic will help when taking cash from our customers, although we do have cash register! This role is also a great way to meet new people, and help us raise funds at the same time.

Ring JJ on 840287 for further details
